At Warringah Rugby we have a huge focus and drive to develop the Women’s program. Our women’s team, the Ratettes have a proud history and successful track record having won the Sydney premiership nine times in its 20 year history.
The Women’s program provides an established pathway for female players looking to play 7’s and 15’s rugby. Competing in both the established Sydney competitions as well as attending tournaments across NSW and beyond, the Rattetes provide the perfect environment for you to become your best.
Over the years the squad has produced some of the best female players in the sport, ranging from Olympic Gold medalists to World Cup Wallaroos and Super W stars. Players to have put on the “Green and White” of Warringah include; Chloe Dalton, Ellia Green, Amy Turner, Tui Ormsby, Cobie Jane Morgan, Emily Robinson, Sarah Laman, Crystal Maguire, Danielle Meskell and Katrina Baker.
The Ratettes are open to any female player 16 years old and above. No experience necessary. Just bring your boots.
Training is Tuesday and Thursday nights. 6.30pm-8pm @ Rat Park, Narrabeen.
