Tell us in 30 seconds tell us about you.

Well, I grew up playing rugby league when I was 8 for Papatoetoe Panthers until I reached high school when I played my first rugby union game. I played all my rugby at Wesley College in NZ before heading to Newcastle Australia to play for Hamilton Hawks for 5 years before coming into the Rats

When did you start playing rugby and with what club? How did you end up playing for the Rats?

My coach at Hamilton Hawks is the younger brother of ex Rats coach Darren Coleman. Bubba linked me up with DC and made the move down to play. I also had a couple of mates playing here at the time, so it was easy for me to come play here.

What position do you play?

I play Tight Head and Loose Head prop

Do you have any game day rituals?

No not really. I usually just chill out before a game.

Tell us about a person that you admire at the Club. Why do you think they have made an important impact?

I admire everyone at the club, just a lot of great people within the club but if I had to choose one it would have to be Dick Harris. He is just an all-round good bloke. He always greets you with a smile and checks in to see if everything is okay.

This weekend is the Pacific Island and Indigenous Round; what does this mean to you to be the face of this round?

I don’t know about being the face of the round but as for the round itself being dedicated to the Pacific Islanders and indigenous, I think it’s pretty cool. There’s a lot of us Pacific Island and Indigenous boys right throughout the club from colts to grade so it’s great to have a day to acknowledge our culture.

I see that you recently celebrated 3-years with your gorgeous girlfriend Sarah Burley.  How did you meet and what her best attributes?

Well we met on a night out in Newcastle and have been together ever since. Her best attributes are definitely her kitchen skills (lol). Coming home after training to a nice home cooked meal is the best! Nah her best attribute will have to be her kind heart!

When you’re not playing rugby, what do you do for fun and entertainment.

Not much really. I just like to watch Netflix and chill.

Lastly, what excites you most about the remainder of the 2019 season?

I’m excited with the position we are at on the table and the bond we have created as a team leading into the business end of the season. We have worked hard all preseason and season to get where we are and to top it off winning the Shute Shield would be awesome!
